This was actually made as a Mother's Day card but would, I think, work equally as well for a birthday. I was very keen to try out my new Memory Box Butterfly Vine border. It is so pretty and cuts beautifully in the Grand Calibur.
I used an 8x8 inch scalloped card blank. I then matted the four squares of Dovecraft DP onto one square of deep pink card and fixed that to the card base. The topper was made with a Lili of the Valley Cute Square which I matted onto the largest sized Spellbinders Lacey Square*. The letters were cut using a Cuttlebug Olivia Alphabet and the butterfly border and gems added to finish off.

Christening Card
So this is a Christening card for a sweet baby girl who is the granddaughter of friends of mine. The table arrangements and flowers were featuring butterflies so I kept that in mind when making the card.
Here is the box decorated with butterflies made with an X-Cut punch, a brad from The Works and butterfly circles cut with Spellbinder dies.
The card is made using an 8 x 8 inch scalloped card blank and features a Lili of the Valley stamp coloured with Promarkers and mounted onto plain and scalloped Spellbinder ovals. The background is a very pale pink Centura pearl card embossed with the Tied Together embossing folder. I have added a tiny pearl at each intersection. The sentiment was computer generated and the roses are all from Wild Orchid Crafts. I also used the stems to make the twirls and added some punched leaf branches. I used tiny butterflies (from the Spellbinder Butterfly Circles die) at each end of the sentiment and one at the top of the card. The remainder were 'sprinkled' inside the box.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Poor Neglected Blog !
Neglected is the word ..... Far too long since I posted as I've not made many cards of late; health problems, life, etc etc. However, I was determined to make a post today to share the card I made for my DH as we celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary. I'm not too good at male cards so tried to keep this layout fairly clean and simply - no ribbons allowed but I did manage to sneak in a couple of bling-y bits!
I cut the Spellbinders Bird Flourishes fancy bird twice (lined up carefully!) and using the negative piece as the focal point, mounted it onto green card which was then mounted onto white card embossed with the Tied Together folder by Couture Creations. Message was computer printed and mounted onto two interlocking Spellbinder Parisian Accents motifs. I also made some score lines top and bottom to add a little extra interest.

A big Thank You to the very talented Sue Wilson and her wonderful blog for all the inspiration. It's my first port of call every day when I log on. Here's the LINK just in case you've missed seeing her amazing creations.
So here's my share for today:

Silver Wedding
Here's two cards made for a family Silver Wedding celebration. The first card was for my MIL to give and the second one is from our family. I was pleased to be able to play with my new toy - a Grand Calibur machine.
I used some white Linen effect Cored'inations card here, cut on the diagonal and then embossed the pink for some added texture. The embossing didn't quite line up so I covered the worst bit with punched flowers!
Just love the heart die from Memory Box!
All the materials are from stash.

Gardener's World - 80th Birthday Card
This is a recent commission card and fairly new territory for me. i.e. CD crafting. I used the 'From the Heart of the Garden' CD by Jane Shasky (from Joanna Sheen) and printed out various papers, toppers and sentiments. I probably have enough left to make another two cards.
I used Centura Pearl in a taupe/pale coffee shade for the base card. The miniature flower pots were cut in half before attaching to the sentiment. I think they were from Hobbycraft.
Inside of card - the Sun charm was included in an assorted pack from Bunny Zoe's Crafts and tied on to some knotted raffia. The photo I took of the right-hand side didn't come out at all which is a shame because my DH had made a miniature fork and trowel to stand in another mini terracotta pot to decorate the greeting/dedication section.
