Two postings in one week - Go me, LOL.
I thought I'd share a photo of my new toy which I absolutely love. I was very happy with my Calibur which is only a little over a year old but was finding it hard to use (my fault nothing at all to do with the machine). I've recently been told I need a shoulder replacement and my lovely DH agreed with me that I deserved a treat! It cuts and embosses beautifully and crafting is so much easier now. Thanks D. xx
On to today's card then - I used one of the lovely Lili of the Valley Coloured Art Pad images. This is from Set 3 Wild Flowers. I cut it out using the largest sized Spellbinders Lattice Rectangle die. I used an 8x8 ins pre-cut scalloped edge card base onto which I layered Dovecraft Back to Basics IV blue dotty paper and topped that with white card which had been embossed using the Regency Embossing Folder which comes with the eBosser. I added blue ribbon diagonally across, then added my image, a Cheery Lynn butterfly. I made a rosette which I finished off with a double twine bow and gem and finally stamped my sentiment with the same blue ink I'd used to ink all the edges and a sprinkling of Glamour Dust to complete the look.
Good Luck
