Aw! How cute is this House Mouse image and he looks to be enjoying such a good siesta. This card was one of those that evolved as it went along - all I knew when I started it was that I wanted to use a House Mouse image so that I could enter it into the MSE Animalistic Challenge - hopefully rodents count, especially such cute ones!!
Inside of card - insert made using the new House-Mouse Inserts CD Rom.

The Tree
So after seeing a beautiful tree card on a blog a few weeks ago, it reminded me that I had the same (or very similar) stamp. I bought it at least 12 months ago and it hadn't even been out of the packet until yesterday. I tried to keep this fairly plain and although it wasn't for any particular occasion I've lost it already - my daughter wants it for her good friend who is about to set off travelling soon.

Lovely New Storage
We saw these units in HobbyCraft yesterday and my DH wanted to buy them but I said no, too expensive. So...... he went out this morning and came back with them anyway!! To be honest, I think he's getting fed up with card-making stuff all over the dining room. Well I shall have to be tidy (well tidier) now.

Quick Makes
Following on from my last post, here are two cards for the 'stock box'. I shall add an appropriate sentiment and insert as and when needed. Both were done with card and gems/ribbon from stash so very economical too. I like this embossing folder but am finding it has a tendency to crease across the bottom edge so have disguised it with score lines and ribbon or gems. Next time I'll try doing a smaller card so that I can use the folder sideways on through the Cuttlebug which may help with the creasing.

DP on RH card - K&Company
Tools used: Craft Concepts Embossing Folder - Flutterby
Martha Stewart Punch (from PATP set) - Vintage Lace

Plain & Simple
So today I needed to do a card quickly and this is what I came up with. I got the Cuttlebug embossing on the go and then added some gems to the butterflies. I think it's turned out quite well for a quick make and I'm going to make some more along this theme as I'm trying to get some cards in reserve.

A Little Experiment
This card came about because I wanted to try colouring ordinary white card with promarkers to match my design papers. This was an idea from Coops (http://coopsclutteredcorner.blogspot.com/) that I read in the comments section on Alison's (http://xxxtglxxx.blogspot.com/) blog. I started with the lovely floral Pink Petticoat paper and went from there. You can just about see my pink Promarker-ed card behind the DP and the Sentiment. I was also looking for a suitable card to give the Marianne bird die-cut its first airing.
DP - Pink Petticoat - magazine freebie
White card, gems and ribbon from stash - Pink card (bird) Bazzill Bling
Roses from Wild Orchid Crafts
Sentiment - Boxed Wishes by Inkadinkadoo
Tools used: Marianne Creatables Die - LR0138
