Quick Makes

Following on from my last post, here are two cards for the 'stock box'.  I shall add an appropriate sentiment and insert as and when needed.  Both were done with card and gems/ribbon from stash so very economical too.  I like this embossing folder but am finding it has a tendency to crease across the bottom edge so have disguised it with score lines and ribbon or gems.  Next time I'll try doing a smaller card so that I can use the folder sideways on through the Cuttlebug which may help with the creasing.

All card, gems and ribbon from stash
DP on RH card - K&Company
Tools used: Craft Concepts Embossing Folder - Flutterby
Martha Stewart Punch (from PATP set)  - Vintage Lace

Thanks for looking!

  1. These look fab Louise. I've never used the embossing design as the focal point on a card before but I really like it, it works well.

  2. Fab embossing folder - may have to break my stash ban! Love the effect of this folder on the card that you use it on. It really does take very little to make a beautiful card like this xxxx

  4. I really like the idea of a 'stockpile' card. Embossed cards like this go for any occasion and both of these look so different. Very pretty details with the punches, and I just love the classic feel to them.
